I made another Flash game! ^_^

Planet of the Forklift Kid! It's physics-y.

The title for this one was randomly generated by the Video Game Name Generator, and the rest flowed from that. Though it wasn't the first name that it generated for me; I went through a bunch of names before I settled on that one. A runner up was "Custom Sex Disaster", but I decided such a game would be too epic. I just don't command the resources to build that game at this time in my life, so I leave it to your imagination. ^_~

That was cute :) I tried to play it but I can't get out of the first room thing, which I expected because I can't play even the simplest game. Anywho, I like the music a lot too :)

Kevin MacLeod has tons of excellent royalty-free music. I recommend checking it out.

That game is quite addicting :D
You need to make more levels now.

The problem is that these things could always have more levels. How do you know when to stop and work on something new? I'm thinking now that Planet of the Forklift Kid has accomplished what it was meant to accomplish, and now the code bits that I have and the knowledge that I've gained from making it will serve as the basis of a new game. :P

...Or, alternatively, I could show you how to make your own levels for PotFK...

You, sir, are made of win and god.

I don't know what to think if this got into the hands of the public and you became some uber game god of awesome cute forklifts.

IT WOULD BE MADNESS

(Oh god, I'm already seeing Live Arcade versions in my head)

Madness indeed. Besides the Kid, there are no other humans in this game because forklifts are dangerous! The Kid is a professional. Do not try this at home.

Still, I must applaud you on such excellent work. The physics work keenly and the animations are pretty darn smooth.

I seriously felt like a super genius upon completing level 3. No man can stack three boxes the way I do! HO HO HO!

i'm actually not sure if some of the tactics i used to beat some levels were legitimate (will not be specific here so as to avoid spoilers). they very much smacked of abusing the physics engine. however i get the feeling that the game is *supposed* to be that way, in which case, awesome.

^_^ Yeah, the whole game was basically an experiment in physics-based gameplay. Level 6 in particular requires physics abuse to get the highest ranking.
